Route Lake Lodge, situated 22 miles north of Dryden, provides our guests with a superior fishing experience. You can spend an exhilarating vacation fishing for Walleye, Northern Pike, Perch or Lake Trout. Our scenic location ensures excellent fishing opportunities all season long. Spring is the best time for Lake Trout while June is an excellent month to try your luck trolling for Walleye and Northern Pike. July through to September is noted for being the most productive time period to fish for all species. Portages allow you to travel from Route Lake to 3 other lakes that offer abundant supplies of Walleye and Northern Pike. There are 3 secluded " drive to lakes" close to Route Lake, one of which has great Smallmouth Bass fishing.
Route Lake Lodge is a family operated Canadian Fishing and Hunting Lodge. We have been in business for 18 years and we are the only lodge on the lake. We offer housekeeping and American plan packages. The complete camp is now solar powered for your convenience. All of our cabins are modern with indoor plumbing, hot and cold running water, knotty pine interiors, BBQ's, decks, and your own dock at each cabin. Our larger cabins have 2 baths and each cabin is close to the water with a view of the lake.
Portages allow you to travel from Route Lake to 3 other lakes that offer abundant supplies of walleye and northern. There are 3 secluded "drive to" lakes in this area of Northwestern Ontario, one of which allows for excellent small mouth bass fishing.
Spring is the best time to catch lake trout while June is an excellent month to try your luck trolling for walleye and northern. July through to September is noted for being the most productive time period to fish for all species.
Our staff has your boat cleaned and fueled daily. There are fish cleaning facilities with ample freezer space for your daily catch. Minnows, crawlers, and leeches are available dock side.
