The peaceful surroundings of Williams Lake Lodge is a dream for any nature lover, with numerous photographic opportunities. Moose, bear, blue herons, many species of ducks and other water fowl, beaver, muskrat, otter and families of bald eagles are regularly seen.
Williams Lake Lodge & Outpost fishing is among the best. Walleye, and Northern Pike are in abundance here. You can also find smallmouth bass, and muskie in these lakes. And thanks to our new summertime fishing techniques, some of our biggest catches are in July and August!
Both deer and bear hunting has become a favorite pastime here. Guide assisted archery or gun hunts will help you through the rugged back country of Northwestern Ontario, in search of game.

Fishing Williams Lake & Lac Seul - Providing the weatherman is co-operating, the fishing is good to excellent with both quantity and quality being the rule. It is very common for some of our more experienced fishermen to release several limits during their stay. As you can see, we have our fair share of trophies.
Outstanding Size - Trophy northern 18 to 25 pounds are taken each season with the odd 30 pounder showing up. (I believe if a 40 pound northern is taken in the next few years, it will come from this area) Walleye 8 to 12 pounds in the South Central part of Lac Seul are more common than 6 to 8 pounders in most lakes in this area. The main forage foods are Cisco, Whitefish and Perch.
Conservation - As sportsmen, conservationists, we are interested in preserving our wildlife and fishing for our children and our children's children. We ask that you enjoy your stay with us for what it really is - a peaceful retreat from the busy routine. Catch tons of fish, but release all but what you really need to eat and hopefully a trophy for mounting.
Boats - Our boats with pedestal seats, fish locators and electric start motors are a dream to fish from. 40 hp. 4-stroke electric start motors are new each season.
