Theriau Lake Lodge

Since 1997 Tony and Janice Gorham have operated this Full Service fly-in fishing and hunting lodge in northern Saskatchewan. We offer a fully-modern main lodge, plus an outpost camp and daily fly-outs. Air travel, accomodations, meals, guides, boats and licenses are included.

Wilderness Canoeing on the surrounding Saskatchewan rivers and lakes. Choose from leisurely day trips to extended 10-day trips. Theriau Lake Fishing Lodge in Northern Saskatchewan supplys the equipment, food and guides. You supply the camera.
Theriau Lake Lodge is a modern facility with private rooms, private baths, a large dining room and a large guest lounge. The fishing lodge is complete with full carpeting, wood and electric heat, laundry service, maid service, satellite phone and a general store, all intended to make you vacation as comfortable as possible. Theriau Lake Lodge is perfect for group trips.
The Waterfound River, heading north towards the Arctic, flows directly through Theriau Lake. The river is a series of rapids, deep channels and small lakes. The river outlet is only 2 kilometers from the Lodge, with easy access in our jet boat. The fast flowing rapids are home to the hard-hitting arctic grayling, with fantastic pike and trout fishing in between each rapid. What a place to spend the day! WOW!
Theriau Lake Hunting Lodge offers fantastic hunting opportunities for our guests. Spring and fall bear hunting, and fall moose hunting are available on request. All hunting is provided as a full-service, full guided package.
Nestled in the rugged, rolling hills of the Athabasca Basin in Northern Saskatchewan, Theriau Lake Fishing Lodge offers some of the finest fly-in fishing, hunting, wilderness canoeing and relaxation you will find anywhere in the world. Situated on an island and surrounded by mature spruce, pine, and birch forest, you will experience privacy you never believed possible.
Theriau Lake is full of countless bays, islands and reefs. This creates a real variety of fishing habitat, from shallow flats and shoals to deep holes and channels. Monster lake trout, giant northern pike and jumbo sized whitefish are the species that live in Theriau Lake in Northern Saskatchewan Canada.
17 kilometers west of Theriau Lake lies 4 unnamed lakes, all interconnected by the Ward Creek. We entertain our guests on the Ward as a daily fly-out. Here we fish for walleye and more huge northern pike. The Lodge record pike was caught here in 1999, a whopping 137cm (54") in length. Arranged 1 to 2 days in advance, we charter a floatplane to take guests, guides and a lunch box to this great spot. The boats and motors are there for you already.
