Experience Canadian Trophy Fishing & Hunting in our 15,000 acre system of lakes. Walleye, Muskie, Northern, Small Mouth Bass and Perch abundantly inhabit our waters. Over 350 square miles are dedicated to hunting Bear and Moose. Enjoy your nights in our rustic cabins, poised on the edge of a white sand beach, perfect for swimming and relaxation. Our equipment, hospitality, and great fishing/hunting will make your stay with us and enjoyable and memorable one.
Thaddeus Lake Lodge is nestled among the trees or along the white sand beach, nine house-keeping cabins with covered decks provide the perfect setting to relax when you are not on the water. Each cabin has a beautiful view of the lake, hot and cold running water, twin beds, private three-piece bathroom and full kitchen. The kitchens are equipped with electric refrigerators, propane stoves and charcoal grills, as well as the cooking essentials (pots, pans, silverware, plates and glasses) -you just supply the food and, of course, the COOK!
Cozy wood heaters (we supply the wood) will keep you warm on those chilly spring and fall nights. Our diesel generator runs 24 hours a day for your convenience. In respect of other guests, we do not allow pets at Thaddeus Lake Lodge.
Thaddeus Lake Lodge chain of lakes will provide enough fishing action to get the whole family hooked on fishing. Northern and perch are always great for the kids. The white sand beach with gently sloping shore is a wonderful place for sunbathing or swimming. In the evening, a drive around the lake is the best way to see moose or black bear. Don't forget the Canadian sunsets, they will take your breath away! In August, blueberry picking is a unique and tasty experience for young and old alike.
Explore three very different types of water by fishing Thaddeus, Ord and Moose Lakes -all accessible from camp without portaging. Walleye, Northern Pike, Silver Pike (a unique silver fish with baby blue fins, found only in a handful of lakes in North America), Small Mouth Bass, Perch and Muskie all inhabit the nearly 15,000 acres of water.
The clear, deep (50 foot) waters of Thaddeus Lake produce trophy size fish, as well as the eaters. Numerous Walleyes over 29", Northern Pike over 36", Small Mouth Bass over 16", and Muskie over 40" are caught each year.
Ord Lake is an excellent fishery, sustained by a fish sanctuary located in Puzzle Bay. Fishing is not permitted in the Puzzle Bay area of the lake until June 1. Ord is a stained, shallow lake with the deepest point being approximately 30 feet. It is known for producing an abundance of eater-size fish, as well as a few of the trophies.
Moose Lake is a great "action" lake. Perch, Northern and Walleye are known to keep anglers busy all day. The lake is clear and shallow; its deepest point is approximately 20 feet.
