We have had a 52" Northern Pike caught & released on Joe T Lake and the average for Numakoos is around 40-44" Northern Pike. The Trout, Whitefish, & Walleyes are all abundant on each of our lakes, and we have limited clientele because we are so remote.
Our policy on all lakes is catch and release. You may eat all the fish you want on the lake in the 2 to 5 lbs. range. If you wish to take fish home, we have a fish plant at Leaf Rapids where you can purchase different species. Please ask to make arrangements. If you wish to have a trophy on your wall, please measure and take a picture of your trophy fish before you release it, and register the size with us. Replicas are your own expense.
Joe T Lake (Northern Pike) - Joe T Lake offers top fishing for Northern Pike and Walleye. This lake features four rivers flowing in and one river running out. The bays are excellent for trophy Northern. Walleye are abundant in the 3 to 5 lbs. range. For more fishing adventure there is a portage from Joe T Lake to Minnesota Falls where a boat and motor are located. Your accommodations for Joe T Lake are a 24 x 34 ft. cabin with screened deck newly built in 1996. It has three bedrooms to accommodate eight people. The kitchen features a full propane range with oven and a wood stove. The privy is out back.
Numakoos Lake (Trout Lake) - Numakoos Lake offers trophy fishing for Lake Trout and Northern Pike. This lake features reefs which are excellent fishing. The cabin is like new and our lakes have never been commercially fished. There is a five minute portage to a nearby Walleye lake giving you the opportunity to catch three types of fish.
Hunts - The Bull Moose hunts for the fall season start the third week in September. License fees, guides, air transportation from Leaf Rapids, accommodations and meals included along with meat handling. All Manitoba hunting regulations apply.
