Absolutely Canadian Outfitters Primary hunting location is just north of Winnipeg, Manitoba near Oak Hammock Marsh game bird refuge (home of ducks unlimited Canada). Our second operation is located just south of Riding Mountain National Park in the pot hole capital of Canada. We offer fully guided hunting packages from 3-6 days. (Some hunters hunt three days in each location.) Fantastic numbers of Canada and Snow geese stage in our area during the fall migration. Duck hunting is excellent with over 100,000 ducks at the refuge on any given day in Sept and Oct. From past experience, opening couple of weeks are beyond belief with limits of geese being the norm. For those hunters who prefer full colored Mallards and large geese we would suggest anytime from Oct 15 to mid November. We offer, excellent accommodations and meals prepared by our cook, Mary (she will make you feel at home). She will probably join us for a beer after dinner. Absolutely Canadian Outfitters is owned and operated by me, a Canadian citizen who has hunted here for 40 years. Some of you may remember me from my days as a guide with Brain Hextall's Hunting Lodge at the Delta Marsh or with Jimmy Robinson at the Sports a Field lodge in St Ambroise. Every effort will be made to ensure your hunt is as comfortable and successful as possible.
I have been guiding in Manitoba since 1969, mostly on the Delta Marsh for the Hextall's. I now own land on the south end of World Famous Oak Hammock Marsh which I plant to corn & barley. I flood a portion of it for Mallard hunting. Our success
