We offer hunting opportunities for big game and waterfowl in an 1800 square mile area of the Peace River Region of northwestern Alberta, Canada. The region has a perfect balance of boreal forest and agricultural lands and is rich in trophy quality big game and waterfowl. Three major river systems and numerous lakes, including Lesser Slave Lake, provide excellent fishing for walleye, pike, perch, and trout.
Archery Alberta Whitetail Deer Hunts and Mule Deer Hunts: These hunts begin in late August, giving the bow hunter an opportunity to hunt deer that are still in their regular summer/early fall feeding patterns. Tree stands are set up to intersect the targeted bucks while they travel between bedding and feeding areas. Opportunities also arise for spot & stalk hunts, particularly for the big antlered mule deer bucks that prefer to feed in the large, flowered canola fields that are prevalent throughout our hunting area. Stands are also placed at watering areas and the natural occurring mineral licks. An archery season whitetail and mule deer hunt can be a great combo hunt for other species as well. Whitetail and mule deer co-exist throughout the hunting area so both can be hunted easily together. Archery combo deer hunts can also include elk, bear, and moose.
All of our hunting adventures are successful in that we give 100% effort and make new friends. We maintain an honest interest and offer personalized "hands on" service. Join us for your next Alberta hunting adventure for black bear, moose, elk, whitetail deer, mule deer, waterfowl and fishing in Alberta, Canada.
We offer rifle and archery Alberta black bear hunts during the spring and fall bear hunting seasons. Our bear hunts take place in a two tag, bear baiting area. Our hunting area in Alberta has an abundance of black bears giving you the opportunity to take home 2 trophy bears during your hunt.
Alberta bear hunters can anticipate multiple sightings each night with opportunities at a variety of bears, including black bears, chocolate bears, cinnamon bears, and blonde bears. Alberta has proven to have record book black bears, many of which can be found in our hunting zone.
Our black bear hunting success is due to the abundance of bears and the effort we put into our hunts. We annually establish new bear baits to give our hunters opportunities at new areas. We run a miminum of three or four active bear baits per hunter. During our black bear hunts each group of hunters gets fresh unhunted bear baits.
You won't be hearing nearby road traffic from our bear bait sites; most are remote and ATV accessed. Placement of the bear baits have proven to be very successful. We use ladder style stands which are safe, comfortable and portable. We have taken many elusive, large bears by simply relocating the stand at the bait site. We work hard to make sure you have a successful Alberta bear hunting experience.
