Deep in the heart of Northwestern Ontario's vast wilderness, between 155 and 240 air miles Northeast of our Fort Frances float-plane base, lie a group of lakes reachable only by float equipped aircraft. Choose from our 11 outpost camps with Rusty Myers Fly-In Outposts.
The flights to these remote locations provide a panoramic overview of this vast green wilderness studded by hundreds of sparkling lakes. Your flights to and from camp will be a most memorable part of your trip.
On these lakes Rusty Myers Fly-In Outposts established 11 rustic outpost camps. Brennan Lake can be a corporate retreat, or a small family re-union gathering place. Our outposts are designed for the "do-it-yourself"person that wants their very own private camp and want to get away form the established tourist camp or lodge.
Grayson is a 1 1/2 to 2 hour flight, 240 air miles. Great fishing for northern pike and walleye. Ideal structure with numerous streams, bays and weed beds produces excellent walleye, with trophy-size northern pike taken each season.
Granite Lake is located 210 air miles or a 2 hour flight within the southern boundary of Wabikimi Provincial Park. The lake features fast paced walleye and northern pike fishing.
In little over a one hour flight, 165 air miles, you will be treated to some really fine walleye and northern fishing. Plus these deep cold waters hold some exciting lake trout fishing. Seseganaga Lake is about 25 miles in length.
Seiss Lake is a 175 air mile flight and a little over an hour trip and places you on an fishing adventure you won't forget. Plenty of delicious walley shore lunches and plenty of exciting Northern Pike fishing action. Seiss is about 5 miles long.
Metionga is our closest Northern Lake, 155 air miles and will treat you to some fine walleye catching, day after day! Plenty of weed beds promise the chance to catch a trophy northern pike.
Wabakimi is located 225 air miles and is a 1 1/2 to 2 hour flight from our Fort Frances air base. The entire lake is within Wabikimi Provincial Park. Prime Walleye and Northern Pike Fishing.
Brisk action for walleye and northern pike and a better than average chance of a trophy Northern Pike. Wilkie Lake is 190 air miles and approximately 1 1/2 hours of flight time. Wilkie Lake is 4 1/2 miles long.
