Reindeer Lake Trout Camp is a Canadian fishing and hunting resort nested in a quiet bay 15 miles north of the end of the road in the true wilderness of Northeastern Saskatchewan.
Guest enjoy full American Plan accommodations with a variety of fishing or hunting package options. Private lodging, delicious home-cooked meals, knowledgeable native guides and a relaxed atmosphere complete the plan.
Here at Reindeer Lake Trout Camp our guest arrive as new friends and leave as part of our fishing family. It is our goal to make everyone's stay at Trout Camp enjoyable and remember able.
While we can handle large groups of fishermen, we like to keep the number of guest in camp to a size were we can meet the fishing and/or hunting needs of each of our guest.
Bear Hunting - Bear hunters stay at the main lodge, while must of the moose hunting is from the outposts camps. Hunters should bring either their favorite Bow or Rifle. Warm and Damp proof type of clothing is a must as temperature can get down to 20°f and be wet. Hunting licenses available at lodge, but not part of package
Reindeer Lake is legendary for great fishing experiences. It offers some of the best Northern Pike, Lake Trout, Walleye and Grayling fishing the north has to offer for the traditional fisherman and is becoming popular with fly-fishermen as well. Due to catch and release policies guest are catching more big fish than ever before. The Lake sprawls out for 185 miles and is dotted with many islands and hundreds of shallow bays. The camp is located just three miles from Deep Bay. Formed by an ancient meteorite, Deep Bay has unique, geological significance. It has a seven-mile diameter, is 710 feet deep and provides pure, icy cold water in which lake trout thrive. The trout are found near the surface in the early summer and go deeper as the water warms.
REMOTE OUTPOST OPTIONS - Located just a short flight from the main lodge, Gladman, Harriot, Kyaska and Johnson lakes are accessible only by float plane and offer great Northern Pike, Lake Trout and Walleye fishing. These lakes offer privacy and seclusion and can be fished for one day as a fly out trip or you can have your own lake for a whole week of great fishing. The outpost cabins are comfortably furnished and equipped with cookware and utensils plus propane cooking stove, grill and lantern. Wood heat keeps you warm and comfortable. Guest provide their own sleeping bags, towels and other personal gear plus food and fishing equipment. Boats, motors, gas fish-landing equipment and ice are stocked from the main camp. The outpost lakes are serviced by our own aircraft with scheduled check-flights.
HARRIOT LAKE - Large, beautiful lake with a big, new cabin, paneled, insulated and centrally located on an island. This lake, located on the Harriot River has unsurpassed Walleye fishing, deep holes for Lake Trout and lots of Northern Pike in the bays. Early spring and late fall fishing produces trophy-sized Lake Trout. Walleye are abundant throughout the summer as well as nice Northern Pike.
KYASKA LAKE - Beautiful lake with centrally located cabin on white sand beach. Cabin recently remodeled, paneled and insulated. A nice river runs through this lake plus it has many shallow bays and rocky islands. Lake size offers diversified fishing for three species of fish. You'll catch big Pike in the bays, river flows and weed beds. Lake Trout at rock drops and deep holes. Walleyes at rocky points and in the river inlet and outlet.
