The Obabikon Lake area, with its hundreds of wild rice beds is a natural feeding ground for thousands of native wild ducks during the summer. Our close proximity to the hunting area means that Obabikon hunters get the first shot at the ducks without long early morning boat rides. It is a known fact that our section of Lake of the Woods because of the wild rice, holds the greatest concentration of puddle ducks.
