We are going into our fifth year on the great Nushagak River. Most guests return after having experianced the best in Alaska. The Nushagak is world famous for its King Salmon run and is also tops for Silvers and Rainbows.

The Nushagak Paradise Lodge mission is to provide you with the ultimate Alaskan fishing adventure. Our premise is that it's more fun to catch fish than to watch other people catch them. Believing this, we fish only two clients with
each guide, thus insuring your maximum fishing time. Each of our guides will give you their utmost attention so that you can concentrate on catching the big ones,and lots of them!
Nushagak Paradise Lodge is premiered the use of yurts on the Nushagak River. Attractive and comfortable, they provide the ultimate camp experience. We have showers with unlimited hot water, and modern toilet facilities. Experienced cooks prepare your meals in modern restaurant quality kitchen. No camp grub here, only one memorable meal after another. Mosquitoes and black flies can be annoying in our section of Alaska, but we use a device called a 'Mosquito Magnet' to attract and capture these pests. We are nearly mosquito and black fly free.

King Salmon Season - If you're looking to catch some monster Kings, then you've come to the right place! King Salmon return to the Nushagak starting in early June, but we don't book clients into our camp prior to June 15th, when the run strengthens and begins to build towards it's peak. From mid-June until mid-July, the river is full of brawny king salmon. 80,000 to 175,000 kings pass by our lodge each year. Catching 10-20 salmon a day is not unusual, and often clients will catch even more. While the Nushagak Paradise Fishing Lodge regular fishing day is about 9 hours, there is no reason why you couldn't fish for more kings after dinner - if you can stand it. The fish are always there. Fishing from the shore is a great experience at Paradise Lodge, and you'll enjoy the variety as you haul in the plentiful chum and sockeye salmon in the evening. It's certainly not hard to fill a fish box for your trip home.
We do not outfit hunters but work with other local outfitters and would be happy to help you line up the right guide for you particular needs.
