Northern Outposts invites you to experience a truly remote fly-in fishing adventure. Our outposts are located 152 + miles due north of Armstrong, Ontario. Our private lakes are located north of the Attawapiskat River System nestled amongst unspoiled wilderness.

Northern Outposts operates on SHOULDICE LAKE and Aldred Lake portage, DEARDEN LAKE and Lavoie Lake portage, OBASHI LAKE and Wagabakedie Lake portage.
Northern Outposts offers a quality run facility with fully equipped outposts. All cabins contain 8 beds / hot showers / propane lights, stove, fridge, freezer / satellite phones / cooking hardware & utensils / water filtration system / screened-in fish cleaning house / firewood / b.b.q. / outdoor fish fryer / 4 boats with motors / unlimited fuel & propane / outdoor privy
Shouldice Lake and Aldred Lake portage offer incredible Northern & Walleye fishing action. Shouldice Lake is 10 miles in length and up to 2 miles wide with an average depth of 15 feet. Northern Pike thrive amongst the numerous weed beds and Walleyes can be found lurking along the rocky shorelines. A fully equipped hand crafted log cabin awaits your fishing party on Shouldice Lake. Aldred Lake portage is equipped with 2 boats & motors. Aldred Lake portage offers an additional 6 miles of water for exploring. These vast bodies of water are filled with fishing stories just waiting to be reeled in.
Dearden Lake and Lavoie Lake portage are an anglers paradise. Dearden Lake is 5 miles long and 1 1/2 miles wide with an average depth of 15 feet. Lavoie Lake portage is 8 miles in length and 1 1/2 miles wide. Together these lakes will prove to be one of the best Northern Pike and Walleye fisheries found anywhere in Northern Ontario. A diamond in the ruff you'll need to experience first hand to believe it. The Walleyes and Northerns will literally entertain you until your arms are sore! Pack your camera because the fishing is unbelievable…
Obashi Lake and Wagabekedie Lake portage are a wonderful maze of islands, bays and rocky reefs. Obashi Lake is over 6 miles long and up to 3 miles wide with an average depth of 15 feet. A short 15 minute portage leads you to "Wag" lake where 2 more boats and motors are located. Both bodies of water provide structure that's an ideal playground for the Northern Pike, Walleye and Perch that are abundant there. If its non stop action your after then Obashi Lake and "Wag" Lake portage are sure to please. This will prove to be a fishing trip to remember!
