Aside from being one of the largest charter boats in the Kenosha & Racine, Wisconsin area, this charter vessel is built with outstanding performance and stability in mind. This 41 foot Viking yacht is powered by twin inboard 350 HP Crusader gas engines, and offers the following amenities:
Captain Randy - Owner and USCG Captain Randy H. Lyle has been fishing Lake Michigan for 26 years. In 1986 Randy and his father, Sam Lyle, began docking their family boat, 23’ IMP “Lucky Lyle” at various ports on Lake Michigan. In the spring, Randy and Sam started the season out of the Waukegan and Winthrop, Illinois harbors, then ventured up the shoreline for the spring coho action. As the season progressed they continued north to various ports along Wisconsin’s shores from Kenosha, Racine, Port Washington, Sheboygon, Manitowoc, and Two Rivers, as well as Ludington and Manistee ports in Michigan. A few years later Randy purchased a 27’ Sea Ray, the Lucky Lyle II and moored it at Port Washington, WI. The Lyle family and friends enjoyed many intense and successful weekend fishing trips throughout the season for the many years to follow.
Randy’s construction career has lead him to extensive travel with opportunities to go fishing on various charter boats working out of ports in Wisconsin, Michigan, Massachusetts, Florida, Louisiana, Texas, California, Washington, Hawaii, Mexico and even on a dugout canoe in Ghana, Africa. Through these experiences and research, he developed a respect and appreciation for the craftsmanship and design of Viking yachts. In 2008 Randy purchased his first 40’ Viking and started his charter fishing business in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Since then Randy has bought, restored and maintained 40’, 41’ and 45’ Viking Convertible yachts with his goal being to provide a first class fishing charter service on high quality Viking Yachts. Randy’s attention to detail, dedication to service, and fishing expertise gained through years of experience has enabled him to provide you with a safe and enjoyable fishing adventure on Lake Michigan.
Captain Tom - Captain Tom grew up in Kenosha and began fishing on Lake Michigan at a very young age. Influenced by local charter captains, family and friends, Tom developed a passion for Lake Michigan sportfishing. In 2000 Tom took his passion to the next level and established himself as a licensed charter boat captain and became owner and operator of a successful fishing charter business. Tom has remained in the Kenosha area to focus on charter fishing during the spring, summer and fall seasons. If he is not running a charter, he is most likely preparing for, or fishing in one of the many sportfishing tournaments on Lake Michigan. As a devoted husband and father, Tom looks forward to bringing up his sons, Matthew & Samuel, in the sport and business for the years to come.
