Kutawagan Outfitters

Located on Forest Fringe north of Choiceland, Saskatchewan. Hunting for several species including black bear. Our clients generally average 12-16 deer sightings per day and up to 60. Our hunting area is 192,000 acres (300 square miles) of prime forest habitat.

WHITETAIL DEER HUNTING:
- Hunts start on Monday, end Saturday evening.
- Expect to arrive Sunday afternoon (this will give you time to sight-in your rifle)
- Archery/muzzleloader seasons are in October each year.
- Rifle season is November thru early December
- Kutawagan Outfitters supplys excellent accommodations, wonderful meals and professional guiding which includes trophy care and meat handling.
- Our hunting area is over 45,000 acres of prime Saskatchewan forest fringe habitat.
- Whitetail deer thrive in this area, probably because they are almost un-hunted!
- Trophy quality is excellent - you will see more than one "taker" so the choice will be yours!

- We also welcome women and youth hunters - bring your wife, son or daughter for a Saskatchewan adventure of a lifetime.

- We use Trail Timer monitoring cameras and continuous scouting to determine the best stand locations.

- Hunting is done from carefully placed tree stands and ground blinds overlooking deer travel corridors, scrape-lines and feeding locations.
- Our stands are enclosed, heated and easy to get into.
KUTAWAGAN BLACK BEAR HUNTING:
- Hunts start on Monday afternoon, end on Saturday evening.
- You should plan to arrive at Bear Paw Lodge by 2:00pm so you are prepared for the evening hunt.
- Kutawagan Outfitters spring season is early May to mid June.
- We take a maximum of 6 clients per week.
- Kutawagan Outfitters supplys comfortable accommodations, excellent meals, professional guiding which includes trophy and meat handling.
- We carefully prepare each hide for a safe trip home.
- Our hunting area is 192,000 acres (300 square miles) of prime Saskatchewan forest habitat.
- Huge black bears range through-out this area and we promise active baits that are HOT!.
- Kutawagan Outfitters welcomes archers since Jeff and Stan have 45 years of combined Archery experience.
- We also welcome women and youth hunters bring your wife for a Saskatchewan adventure of a lifetime ..excellent fishing for Walleye, Northern Pike and stocked Trout lakes are available near our lodge.
- Archery and rifle shooting ranges available at the Lodge.
- The lodge is located 15 minutes from our hunting area for quick access.
- Kutawagan Outfitters use Trail Timer monitors and cameras and continuous scouting to determine the size and quality of bear working our baits.
- We have an excellent mix of colorations ranging from blonds and cinnamons to chocolates, reds and jet-blacks.
- Our clients usually see a variety of bears each evening.
- Hunting is over carefully chosen bait locations from tree-stands.
- Our stands are clamp on and aluminum ladder stands.
