Walleye, Northern, Muskie and Smallmouth Bass are all prominent fish species on the Wabigoon Lake chain. Wabigoon Lake is considered one of the best - if not the best for combination walleye and muskie fishing in the world. Rated #1 by A.I. McClane in Fishing World magazine.
Wabigoon is and will always be a highly productive chain of 9 lakes, plus a trophy fishing lake. Indian Point Camp is located on the West end of Wabigoon Lake just off Highway 502. Wabigoon Lake is the main chain of 9 lakes including Mile, Trap, Dinorwic, Butler, Olson, Larson, Paulson and Minnehaha. The lake is 26,000 acres approx. and has an average depth of 19.6 feet. Don't let the size intimidate you, you can always get out on the lake no matter what the weather, its loaded with bays, inlets and islands that make great fishing for Walleye, Northern Pike, Muskie and Smallmouth Bass. Plenty of fish to eat and excellent trophy potential.
All ten of our housekeeping cottages offer an exceptional view of Wabigoon Lake, and are fully equipped for your comfort.
Fall Bear Hunts - Indian Point Camp is responsible for managing our 250 sq. mile area of true wilderness bear country. To maintain an excellent success rate, we limit our number of hunters per season. This also enables us to give your hunt a more personal touch. All baits are active weeks prior to our hunters arrival and we discuss in detail with each hunter, the patterns and habits of each bait site... so if the adventure and thrill of hunting the ever cautious black bear stimulates your hunting instincts, please call or write today for more information.
Boat, motor, pedal boat rentals, fishing and hunting licences, tackle, ice, live bait, gas, picnic area, screened-in fish cleaning house with running water, freezer and packaging room, laundry facilities, central shower, boat launch on the property, docking facilities, professional guide service available at your request and remote lake boat caches. Many guests will enjoy hiking, gathering driftwood, wild flowers, bird and wildlife watching, listening to the call of the loon, watching the northern lights or sitting around the campfire (don't forget the marshmallows).
