SUNSET CABIN: With an excellent view of the spectacular sunsets Canada is so famous for. Overlooking the beautiful waters and thousands of islands, this breathtaking view from this cabin is enjoyed by many each year. A modern facility, Sunset is a 2 bedroom cabin housing 6 or more people with 6 individual beds and a lounge area.
LAST CHANCE CABIN: 8 individual beds and a great western exposure to the beautiful sunsets. Last Chance is a modern log cabin with rustic appearance. It's a duplex with 3 bedrooms. Last Chance and Sunset both have outside decks with firepits to enjoy.
SUNRISE CABIN: Sleeps 18 - has 4 baths - 4 private entrances to handle 4 individual parties of 4. Hidden Island is in the process of building a gazebo for the enjoyment of those in Sunrise Cabin. View the beautiful morning sunrises from your cabin!
Fish for Muskie, Northern, Walleye, Smallmouth Bass, Crappie and Lake Trout. You are welcome to bring your boat and motor in - we have a boat allowance and room for your boat at our dock, with electric outlets for charging. Camp boats are modernly equipped, safe and comfortable. We offer both console steering and tiller handle steering. Most boats have subfloors and casting platforms. All boats have swivel and/or pedestal seats and are equipped with battery, and fish locator.
Hidden Island resort offers the use of Alumarine boats that range from 16 1/2ft to 18ft, powered by 25hp 4 stroke to 60hp oil injected engines. These boats are equipped with either tiller or console steering. Boats are also equipped with electronics, swivel seats, casting platforms and flat bottom sub-floors.
Professionals teach you how to fish better. Pro-Fishing Instruction is not just a great program to learn how to fish better. It is also less expensive than a guide service for two people - 4 days. Hidden Island Hide-Away is the advanced level of the past "In Fisherman's Camp Fish program. Hidden Island hosted "Camp Fish" under "In Fisherman" for six years. Since that time and including Camp Fish we have tallied up over 1,100 entries. Pro-Fishing Instruction accommodates fellowship groups, husbands and wives, adults, children and many families.
One main attraction of Hidden Island is our many species of fish available. You just never know what might be on your line next. We have Muskie, Northern, Walleye, Sauger, Crappie and Smallmouth Bass all close by. Lake Trout are 1 1/2 hours by boat from our camp.
Catch and Release Program:
Hidden Island's policy of catch and release started 10 years ago. We simply release all fish that are of reproductive size with the exception of trophy mounts. It's obvious that sport fishing is better. No bass can be kept before July 1st. Hidden Island allows 1 1/2# and smaller bass to be kept if people wish after July 1st. Large smallmouth bass can also be mounted and counted in the limit. Province rules - 54" muskie and up can be skin mounted. Most camps and a majority of fishermen prefer that no muskie over 54" be kept.
