Plummers Lodges

It's a Hunters' Paradise! With camps in different areas of the province we have some of the best hunting you will find. We hunt huge forest fringe areas as well as farmland bordering parcels of big bush with lots of alfalfa fields, making for excellent whitetail hunting. Our deer population is high and many record bucks are taken each year.

For the serious hunter, a mature whitetail buck is one of the most sought after big game animals in North America! They are also one of the smartest. If you are willing to put in the hours on a tree stand and willing to use other techniques, then we're a camp for you. We take a maximum 16 whitetail hunters a year and 90 percent of our clients had an opportunity to take a mature buck.

For the not so avid fisherman we can keep you well entertained all day long by going on hikes and some whitewater rafting. At Hawkrock you will have a great time . We have an all you can eat policy with excellent food as well as 24 hour emergency phone service. We can customize every individual groups needs to give you the most out of your trip, whether it be a once in a life time trip…or you can come back year after year.

Northern Pike - are plentiful and extremely aggressive. They will strike at just about anything you put in the water. We have caught over 100 in a day, as big a 30 lbs and lengths up to 51". They are a lot of fun on fly fishing gear as well.

Arctic Grayling - for those of you who fly fish and even those who don't, these feisty things will keep you entertained for hours. We catch them in fast flowing rapids on the Hawkrock River.

Walleye - are plentiful in our rivers and smaller lakes and they are delicious fried up fresh.

Lake Trout - to keep your nerves tingling all day. The next one could be the lunker of your life! We feel that we have one of the best lake trout lakes in the province. On a daily average we catch and release 40 to 50 trout per boat with sizes averaging 15 to 18 lbs and as big as 42 lbs.

My whitetail camp is located south of Porcupine Plain by the Greenwater Provincial Park. My camp is on my own private land that touches the park. Here in the evenings we get to view a lot of big bucks that come out only at night it seems. They come to camp to feed or sniff out does. My guests say it's the best TV channel they have ever seen. They come within 30 yards of the cabin which gives us real good look.

For the black bear hunter we definitely have a hunt for you! Hunting our Saskatchewan black bear is very entertaining, exciting, and we are very successful at it. We run many baits in different areas which allows us to see a lot of different bears. We have excellent color phase in our bear population and 50% of our bear are making the record books.

We operate a fishing camp at the northern tip of Saskatchewan on the Hawkrock River northwest of Wallaston Lake, about 60 miles south of the North West Territories border. Accessible only by float plane, you will be flown into one of the last untouched frontiers of northern Canada. The bodies of water we fish have never been commercially fished and very few have ever seen this magnificent country or angled on these waters because of the remoteness.

The camp has fully modern accommodations with indoor flush toilets, hot showers, wood burning fire places in each room and cathedral ceilings. We can accommodate up to 16 guests at a time. It is a very clean and beautiful camp. We are a full American Plan lodge with excellent friendly staff and non-native guides. From camp we can fish many different lakes plus many miles of the Hawkrock River with no fly-outs. Our lakes are small enough that we can always get out to fish no matter what the weather and winds are like. We have 16'boats on my bigger trout lakes complete with boat seats, fish finders and down riggers. On the Hawkrock River we run 14"boats. All boats and motors are like new. We have 4 stroke Honda's and 2 stroke Yamaha's. We have no junk. We are definitely a trophy lodge with lots of big fish. Each group last season caught at least one or more fish over 25 lbs. We can handle any type of group from corporations to family groups. As well, we offer canoeing and eco-tours.
