Flotten Lake Resort is situated at the north east corner of Meadow Lake Provincial park in Saskatchewan, Canada. We are a Fishing, Big Game and Game Bird Outfitter with licenses on site. The nearest major airports are in Edmonton, Alberta or Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Approximately four hours driving from either centre will put you at our door.
Flotten Lake is a fertile lake 7 miles long by 2 miles wide. There are three islands in the middle with sandbars and rock reefs with sheltered and secluded bays.
We have 16 foot aluminum boats with 9.9 hp and 15 hp motors available.
Mallard Lake is a remote and secluded lake approximately 12 miles from the Flotten Lake Resort. Access is provided by ATV, mountain bike or hiking. The cabin at the lake comfortably accomodates six adults. As of this time the lake has been virtually unfished. Populated by the ferocious Northern Pike. We recommend barbless hooks and catch-and-release in the water. The average fish size is 4-6lbs, and the trophy pike has yet to see a lure. Two boats equiped for fishing are available for your use. Fish filleting and freezer facilities are provided.
Black Bear - Very few hunters leave our camp empty handed. From late April thru mid October the black bear prowls our trails in abundance. Up to a quarter of our yearly harvest of black bear are off-color; brown, cinnamon and occasionally the rare blonde. 138,000 acres of allocated area.
White-Tail Deer - Big bucks are plentiful in our area. Our guide will take you to where they are. Archery, Muzzle loader and Rifle hunts. 138,000 acres of allocated area.
Waterfowl & Upland Game Birds - Mallards and Great Canada Geese, use our area, north-western Saskatchewan, for their first rest stop in their annual migration along the Flyway.
