We publish a weekly fishing report for our area of the coast, to our web site. And,we also post current photographs of clients with their catches.

Delta Guide Service is the oldest professional saltwater guide service in this part of South Carolina. We have been providing professionally guided fishing trips in this coastal area since 1983.

At Delta Guide Service we take great pride in being not only a licensed guide, but a guide in the truest sense of the word. Our greatest pleasure comes not just from putting you in a position to catch fish, but in seeing to it that you enjoy the entire trip.

We support the philosophy of "catch and release." Many of these released fish will return as spawners, and that's when the releasing really pays off!

If you like catching big fish on light tackle or fly rod, you have found the right place!! You don't have to travel to the Gulf Coast to have really good shallow water fishing for big red drum and sea trout. You also don't have to go on the ocean and fight rough water and seasickness all day to have a good time fishing on our coast. We fish inside protected areas behind our barrier islands, and in the many creeks, rivers and bays.

The entire 50 mile area is made up of wildlife and waterfowl management areas that are controlled by the state or federal government. This area is the world famous Santee Delta and Cape Romain area of South Carolina. We have five major fresh water rivers emptying into our immediate area which makes the area brackish. The city closest to this area is Georgetown, which is our home town. We are 36 miles south of Myrtle Beach, and 60 miles north of Charleston, and our guides fish this entire area of the coast on a day to day basis.

This huge area is located about midway between Myrtle Beach and Charleston, and is one of our favorite areas of the coast. In all of these areas it is quite common to see deer, alligators, osprey, balde eagles, otter, wild boar, dolphins and many other animals and birds that inhabit this large, beautiful, and remote area.
