Plummers Lodges

Crow Rock Lodge is rather unique from other camps in that we can offer our guests a variety of fish species. Our guests have the opportunity to catch Walleye, Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Trout and Muskie during their stay. The abundance of these fish is due to the extensive fishing territory surrounding us. Lake of the Woods, which hosts all six species, consists of 14,500 islands and unlimited bays and shoreline to fish. We also have access to Shoal Lake which has excellent Bass and Pike fishing. At Crow Rock Lodge we encourage "Catch and Release" and you will find appropriate discounts for this policy on our rates page

Besides our great fishing opportunities, you can also enjoy other activities at Crow Rock Lodge.

Now you can venture off into one of our kayaks or canoes and explore the surrounding islands. For the more adventurous, you can portage into one of our 8 remote lakes for the day. We also have an extensive hiking trail behind the main lodge with great scenic views along the way. During the season, pick a variety of wild berries. Also available is wildlife viewing from certain vantage points. View deer, bear, moose and a host of other animals.

PHOTOGRAPHY OPPORTUNITIES

Bring your camera along to capture the array of beauty and wildlife this area has to offer. It's not uncommon to sight moose, deer, bear, otter, beaver and other wildlife. The birdlife is spectacular with good numbers of bald eagles, loons, osprey, white pelicans, sea gulls, and more. With more than 14,500 islands there are spectacular landscape scenes and breathtaking Canadian sunsets.

Only fifteen minutes from the Crow Rock Lodge docks will put you at the head of a portage. A short hike and you'll find yourself at the shoreline of a small and pristine Northwoods lake. A placid scene, untouched and overlooked by all but a few appreciative souls. The eight lakes available this season have been carefully chosen after searching for the best angling. In total, these remote lakes offer some incredible fishing for Northern Pike, Walleye and in particular Smallmouth Bass. Due to their respective wind sheltered nature and waters of extreme clarity, they provide the fly fisherman or top water enthusiast with an angler's dream come true. The thrill of observing a trophy bass attacking your presentation yards away often unnerves even the seasoned professional.
