Boreal Bay Lodge (formerly Crawford's Resort) is where big water and big fish tales meet. The new owners arrived just in time for the 2007 season and changes are taking place. Many of our 30, 40 and 50 year guests are very excited about seeing changes which have already lead us to some of the highest returning guest numbers in the industry at nearly 90%. In our 79th season of fishing, hunting and family north woods adventures; Boreal Bay Lodge is becoming the place to stay.
Many years ago, Native Indians traveled hundreds of miles each year form down south to spend the summer in our area, enjoying the scenery, fishing, hunting and harvesting the wilderness food available in the area. They were one of the first summer guests to the area. Now thousands of people follow in their footsteps each year to enjoy our pine covered islands, clear water, rock cliffs, quiet coves, soaring eagles. There is nothing that can compare to the total relaxation of just getting back to the peace and quite of unspoiled natural beauty at her finest. Natural stress release at your fingertips.
Many guests come for the World-Class fishing and a chance to land a monster sized trophy on Kakagi (Crow) Lake, Lake of the Woods, or one of our remote portage lakes. Every year many guests will return to the lodge from a day on the water with a little trembling in the knees after seeing a fish that can only be described as unbelievable.
Bring your families, your friends, your co-workers and your employees for the chance to relax and enjoy all that we have to offer. We hope you will plan your next adventure with us at Boreal Bay Lodge on Kakagi (Crow) Lake near Nestor Falls, Ontario.
