South East Manitoba boasts a migration of 400,000 to 500,000 Canada geese and 100's of thousands of ducks. For a wide variety of divers we recommend planning your hunt for early October. At this time of the year you will be shooting at Canvasbacks, Redheads, Bluebills, Ringbills, Goldeneyes, and Bufflehead. Later in October you will mainly be shooting at Bluebill and Bufflehead on the lake.

Our diver hunting is set up so that we can hunt off the shore or from our new Bankes layout boats.

As every avid waterfowl hunter knows, quantity and quality of the equipment plays an important role in the success of your hunt. We at Borderland understand this and that is why we only use the best. When out in the field waiting for that first flight of geese, you will be laying in one of our Final Approach SUB's or Pro Guide blinds. Our decoy spread consists of Avery full body decoys.

If you are crazy about hunting geese and want to be able to hunt them morning and evening until your limits are full, you will want to come during our all day goose season. If this is your goal....Please make sure to mention this to us when you call. We want to make your hunting trip the best expereince possible by tailoring it to your interests.
