AT THE DOCK - CONVENIENT SERVICES
Assistance is readily available at our dock site as you prepare for your day on the lake. Dock hands clean and service boats daily. From sunrise to sunset, your needs are met. Fish cleaning, packaging and freezing are also a part of our services available.
HISTORY - Originating in 1948 by his father Sam, Ernie and wife Lynn Bruetsch continue to own and operate Birch Dale Lodges and Campgrounds together with their family members, bringing the success and enjoyment of this Lodge into the third generation of the Bruetsch family. Throughout these years, hard work and family dedication have enabled Birch Dale Lodges and Campgrounds to remain a modern facility with hearty hospitality and many friends; new and old acquaintances return year after year.
Walleye, Northern Pike, Bass, Trout, Muskie and Perch - Bountiful Eagle Lake is a fascinating place that provides the ultimate in fishing all year long. All species are easily accessible from Birch Dale Lodge, enabling you to enjoy your choice of either a full day of fine fishing or a shorter day if you prefer. Experience a fly-in fishing trip to a more remote location - just leave the arrangements to us!!
More specifically, in early spring, be a part of the fishing fever as you lower your lines for Lake Trout, Walleye, Northern Pike, and spawning Bass.
Toward late June, explore the thrills of catching the mighty Muskie!! July and August provide continued successful fishing as fish now tend to school on reefs and large sandbars, also found very easily from our Lodge. As the waters tend to cool with September approaching, the Muskie become extremely active and the schooling Smallmouth Bass provide an exciting challenge in your attempt and success to net either of these species! With many fine species and easy access, you can see just how spectacular Eagle Lake is for all fish enthusiasts!!
