My wife and I traveled all over the north and looked at a lot of lodges before we came across Natawahunan Lake Lodge. Some things that made it so attractive to us was it's close proximity to Thompson, Manitoba which enables us to keep expenses down and pass the saving onto you.
It is a small Mom and Pop type lodge, not a large commercialized resort. We only accommodate 16 people per week so more of our time can be spent to make your stay at our lodge as enjoyable as possible. Though we are close to Thompson we are still very remote. The lake and river system is so large that there are endless places for good fishing and some of the best wildlife viewing that we have ever seen.
The walleye in this system are so abundant it is almost impossible not to catch them. Northern Pike are so plentiful, that is some places you can catch them every cast for hours on end, and there is always the opportunity for a trophy catch of either species. Don't rule out the perch and sauger that are also in the system.
