Elk Island Lodge has a 4200 foot long runway made from the crushed rock taken from the gold mine site on Elk Island in the early 1900's. The crushed rock is more of a powder now so it will not damage props and it does not get too soft for taking off or landing.
We have a fleet of brand new fishing boats for your use. There are 20, 18 foot boats equipped with 40 HP Mercury outboards.

They are also familiar with the famous God's River and Brook Trout fishing techniques.
The owners of Bolton Lake Lodge and Outposts (Brian and Trevor Dick) bought Elk Island Lodge a few months before the 2000 season. We have rebuilt the main lodge, with a new dining room, new conference center, new games room, new deck, and an incredible view of one of the best fly - in fishing lakes in Manitoba.
