Cottages - Savanne River Resort & Campground has large, bright, well-insulated cottages. Most of our cottages are on the river front and come equipped with picnic tables and fire pits. A television is available in some of the cottages. All our cottages are fully equipped for housekeeping (except for towels). We have one wheelchair accessible cottage available.
Hunting - Our moose hunt is for Ontario residents only. We traditionally hunt the north and east end of Lac des Mille Lacs, the Savanne River and surrounding bush roads where there is always a good number of moose. Be prepared to take one home. We do not have resort tags as of yet. Anyone wishing to hunt out of the resort must apply for tags in WMU's 12B and 15B.
We also have an abundance of bear and small game in our area. Upland game birds and waterfowl may be hunted by residents and non-residents. Only resident hunting for bear is permitted.
